Uluwatu Temple
Pura Luhur Uluwatu is a Balinese Hindu temple located in the South of Bali. The temple is one of nine key direction temples that are believed to protect Bali from the south side direction. this unique temple lies on Uluwatu Cliff of 70 meters Hight above sea level.
This temple was expanded by Empu Kuturan in the 11th Century. Uluwatu Come from the Words "Ulu" which means Land's end and "Watu" which means Rock. The name itself can describe what the temple is all about. this temple was also chosen by Holy priest Dhang Hyang Dwijendra as their last spiritual Journey and he attended Moksha in this temple.
